Planning
Requirements, design intent, feasibility, and technical direction are clarified early on — creating a clear, traceable foundation for the planning and execution that follows.
Execution
Developed plans are further detailed technically, checked for constructability, and coordinated across relevant interfaces. Any changes remain traceable to the agreed requirements.
Operation
The facade is built and in operation. Its condition, actual performance, and any observed irregularities provide the basis for maintenance, repair, adaptation, or further investigation.
Revitalization
The starting point is an existing facade. Its condition and future requirements are assessed together to identify viable strategies for preservation, upgrading, or renewal.
To me, the architect is the general practitioner and the facade planner is the specialist. And if I have something complicated going on with my heart, I’m not going to go to my family doctor either.
