Textile Potentials in Architecture, Networking workshopThe networking workshop “Textile Potentials in Architecture” brings together invited guests and stakeholders from research and industry to discuss how innovative textile technology can contribute to a more sustainable architecture and building culture. It will include 15-min presentations from experts in the fields of smart materials, textile design, facade technology and architecture, followed by a panel discussion.
The event is organized by Priedemann Facade-Lab and Weißensee School of Art and Design as part of the research project ADAPTEX, which is developing an adaptive textile sun shading system using smart materials. It is part of the smart³ consortium, funded by the German Ministry of Education and Research BMBF.
